Repairs

Please note: Repairs take 4 to 6 weeks. If you would like an estimate for your project, it will most likely still take this long, as the repair department often has to complete a repair in order to compile a final price for it.

Laura Gibson Jewelry, by virtue of being beaded, is delicate and should be handled with the same care you would give any fine jewelry. We recommend that pieces be restrung every twelve months if they are worn frequently, otherwise every two years should suffice. Laura Gibson guarantees her jewelry for one year.

After one year, a fee will be charged for re-stringing or for other repair. Should something need to be repaired during this time period, we would be happy to do so free of charge. You will pay only the shipping costs to send it to us, we will return it to you at our expense.

When returning a piece, please wrap it securely and return it with shipping prepaid. We recommend insuring the package for the value of the item(s), as we are not responsible for items lost during shipping.

Below are some rough pricing estimates as a guide - please note, that prices may be subject to change:

Price for attaching a single stone or clasp:
$10 per wire wrap + stones + shipping

Bracelet Re-stringing:
1 strand: $30 + stones + shipping
1 complicated strand: $35 + stones + shipping
2 strand: $40 + stones + shipping
3 strand: $50 + stones + shipping
4 strand: $60 + stones + shipping

Necklace Re-stringing:
1 strand: $40 + stones + shipping
2 strand: $50 + stones + shipping
3 strand: $60 + stones + shipping

In addition, $20 will be charged to you for shipping the piece using FedEx 2 day service. If your piece is Silver, we may be able to offer you a more affordable shipping option, please ask your Customer Service Rep for more information.
